TRACE can read this simulation as if it were a Logix PLC on this PC. So can pylogix and other tools that read a Logix controller by IP.

   A small program on this PC that lets this website publish the simulation. It is installed with TRACE 1.11.1 or later: Start menu → TRACE → Siganor Link. Its window shows a pairing code.

   In TRACE: Configuration → PLC IP, then add or browse tags. Browse lists every simulated tag.

   Help

   • The first time, Chrome and Edge ask whether this site may access devices on your local network: allow it. If it was blocked, allow it again in the site settings (the icon left of the address).
   • When FactoryTalk Linx holds port 44818, the next free port is used and the address shows it, for example 127.0.0.1:44819. TRACE 1.11.0 and later accept it.
   • Press Run in the simulator so the values change.
   • Studio 5000 / RSLogix cannot go online or download to it. Only this PC can reach it. A write from a tool to a tag the logic drives acts as a force.
